Located in and around Marsden Bay in the North East of England, a beautiful scenic coastline known locally for its colourful history of smugglers, wrecks and ghosts.

A water adventure like you’ve never experienced before, a mix of high cliff jumps, swimming to secluded beaches and exploring mysterious smugglers coves. Come along and take the leap into the unknown, you won’t be disappointed!

What you need to bring

You will be provided with all of the essential safety equipment, including: wet suit, buoyancy aid and helmet while being expertly guided by our safe and experienced guides.

You simply need to bring:

  • Swim shorts or costume
  • Old shorts to wear over the wetsuit to protect it
  • Boots or trainers  (must be closed toe)
  • Rash vest, tech ‘T’ shirt
  • Don’t forget your Towel

Pricing

Only £40pp but a reduction for family and group adventure packages are available (depending on group size). Prices includes fully qualified instructor, all safety equipment and a half day activity (approximately three hours from initial meet).

At Aquaventures safety is our priority, we have full public and product liability insurance, written risk assessments for every activity we offer and use highly experienced and qualified instructors with an excellent client to staff ratio.

Children 7+ are welcome to join us ghyll scrambling or coasteering  but must be accompanied by an adult please let us know when booking how many and what ages they are.

Please note, our highly experienced guides will manage all ability levels, at any point the obstacles or challenges can be avoided by skipping onto the trail so people can observe if they prefer.

We have a beautiful coastline and countryside here in the north of England and we wish to keep it that way. So we ask all clients to respect the natural beauty of your surroundings, this includes taking all bottles and wrappers home. Please leave the area as amazing as you found it.
